2021 Daily Devotions - Day 320

I have mentioned before how so many people believe they are almost invisible to God. After all, they assume there are billions of people in the world: “Who am I in this sea of humanity?” “There are thousands of problems everywhere which must be of greater importance to God compared to my situation.” Too often, we think we are insignificant to God, and yet, we are not. Here is what Jesus had to say:

Luke 12:24 ESV
Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!

Think about the consequences of what this means. It means God must care for the fly, the moth and even the little ant. This is just how great God really is. No one and nothing He has created is insignificant to Him. If He takes care of them, He will certainly take care of you.

Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, You are amazing. You care for all of Your creation; from the smallest to the tallest, it is all of great concern to You. Help us to remember this important lesson today as we begin our day. You have not forgotten any of us and never will. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Yours because of Him,
Pastor John R. Steward
