2020 Daily Devotion - Day 119

Learning to wait causes us to grow. This is difficult to accept sometimes; especially when life if challenging like it is right now. However, still we do know learning to wait is important. This is the reason we teach our children about “delayed gratification”. We know learning delayed gratification will help them mature and become more successful in their future.

One of the reasons we can wait is because God has promised He will not abandon you. He continues to walk with you no matter what is happening right now.

Hosea 12:6 ESV
“So you, by the help of your God, return, hold fast to love and justice, and wait continually for your God.”

Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, if we have gone astray, help us to return to You. For You have promised You will not abandon us. Remind us today to “wait continually for you”. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Yours because of Him,
